Respected business leaders from the manufacturing community took part in a panel discussion and shared their thoughts and experiences with the students and gave them insight as to what job skills they are looking for.
The Panel discussion was kicked off by Bob Justis, Cedar Falls Chamber of Commerce President and Bill Dotzler, IA State Representative. The panel members were: Martin Timm, GMT Corporation, Dean Bierschenk, Universal Industries, John Roloff, John Deere Waterloo Works, and Kevin Harberts, Iowa Metal Spinners.
229 area High School students attended this year's event!
In addition to the 229 High School students, this event attracted around 200 people who came to view the products and services on display and to take advantage of the opportunity to network with area manufacturers and gain knowledge on their products and services.
